Meet the artist

Hi and welcome to all ! I am Audrey Péan, a self-taught French painter. Born in 1987 in the Paris suburbs, I currently live on Reunion Island.

For me, painting is not a coincidence but a legacy, I grew up with my parents whose favorite hobby was painting.

​

My work is very spontaneous. I express myself through intuitive gestures and bright colors in order to create a visual experience for the audience.

​

I chose the path of non-figuration, which is why I define my paintings as abstract. I free myself from codes and representation to create dynamic and colorful universes.

​

I invite the viewer to use his imagination. It's when the viewer tries to see something that emotions manifest themselves and that's how he creates a unique connection with the artwork.

Abstract art offers more questions than answers and it is there all its strength.​​

Through my paintings, I invite the audience to let go what they know to dive and join me halfway in the universe I have created.
